Try tangram puzzles to investigate mathematics with children!
For young children, simply put puzzles together with tangram pieces. Use words like above, below, rotate, slide, and flip as you create the puzzles with your children.
Tangram puzzles are also great tools for understanding fractions and decimals.
Find the value of each puzzle piece of the tangram if the entire square tangram is worth $8. Then find the value of each piece if the tangram is worth $12. Finally, what is the value of each piece if the entire tangram is worth $1?
